We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing electrical contractor based in the Kent area.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Electrician to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role with a reputable contractor carrying out a mixture of commercial electrical installation and maintenance works across Central London and Kent.

This is a full-time permanent position, offering job security, ongoing work and the opportunity to become part of an established team.

The successful candidate will work across a variety of commercial sites, delivering high-quality installation, testing and maintenance services for a diverse client portfolio.

• Be a fully qualified Electrician
• Hold the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• Hold the 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
• Have experience carrying out electrical installation and maintenance works within commercial buildings
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
• Live within a commutable distance of Kent

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installation, planned maintenance and reactive maintenance works within commercial buildings across London and Kent.

• Commercial electrical installations.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Reactive electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Inspection and testing of electrical systems.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
  
  Emergency lighting testing and maintenance.
• Distribution board and consumer unit works.
• Completing electrical certification and compliance documentation.
• Ensuring all works comply with current regulations and Health & Safety standards.
• Representing the business professionally whilst on client sites.

• Monday to Friday.
• Full-time permanent role.
• Standard day shifts.
• Occasional evening and weekend work as required.
• Overtime paid for all approved out-of-hours and weekend works.

• Fully qualified and experienced within commercial environments.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Confident carrying out both installation and maintenance works.
• Experienced in testing, inspection and fault finding.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Looking for a stable, long-term permanent position.
