Roadside Technician – RAC
As a Roadside Technician with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least two years of post‑qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience, you’ll be based in the Exeter cluster covering areas such as Exeter, Exmouth, Sidmouth, Honiton, Tiverton, Newton Abbot, Torquay, Paignton and Dawlish. You will start and finish your day at home, providing expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
Responsibilities- Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
- Handle flat batteries, tyre changes and complex fault‑finding.
- Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to members.
- Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- At least two years of post‑qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
- Customer‑focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Base salary of £36 400 with realistic OTE of £61 000; top performers earn more through bonuses and enhanced overtime rates.
