Starting Salary for 2026-27:  $47,330 (2025-26--TBD negotiations year)

Qualifications:

* Valid Montana Teaching Certificate with proper endorsement or eligibility for certification

* Ability to pass a fingerprint background check

* Effective communication skills

* Ability to handle stress and maintain confidentiality

* Effective time management skills

Teachers with less than two years of experience will be placed on Step 2 of the master agreement pay scale.

Terms of employment set by master agreement: currently 152.5 days
