Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Location: Culbertson, MT
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent placement

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join a clinical laboratory team. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures that support accurate diagnosis and quality patient care.

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures following established protocols and guidelines

• Collect, process, and analyze specimens including blood, urine, and tissue samples

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment

• Prepare reagents, solutions, and media for testing

• Accurately document and manage test results using laboratory information systems (LIS)

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety standards, and quality control protocols

• Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory or similar setting

• Proficiency in laboratory disciplines including:

  • Hematology

  • Chemistry

  • Microbiology

  • Coagulation

  • Urinalysis

  • Blood Banking

• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and quality control procedures

• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS)

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred:

• Phlebotomy experience

• Prior hospital laboratory experience

• 8-hour shifts

• Day shift

• Monday Friday

• Holidays as scheduled
