The Position:
Activity Aide/Driver

Employment Status: Part-Time

Hours per two-week pay-period: 32 hours

Compensation: $16.50 per hour starting wage, aligned with internal pay structure and experience

Essential Job Functions
  • Provide transportation for residents to medical appointments, community outings, and other approved destinations while ensuring resident safety and comfort.
  • Assist residents with entering and exiting the facility vehicle using appropriate safety techniques and equipment.
  • Maintain transportation schedules, mileage logs, vehicle inspections, and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
Certifications and Licenses
  • CPR certification preferred but not required.
  • Current, valid Montana driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
Position Summary

The Activity Aide/Driver supports resident quality of life by providing safe, reliable transportation to appointments and community outings while also assisting with activity programming. This position helps plan and facilitate meaningful group and individual activities, communicates effectively with residents, families, volunteers, and staff, and performs administrative tasks related to scheduling and transportation. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, patient, enjoys working with older adults, and possesses a current Montana driver's license.
