Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled General Ultrasound Technologist with OB training for a 13-week contract. This full-time role involves performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, demonstrating technical expertise, independence, and clinical judgment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Apply specialized OB ultrasound skills to support patient assessments.
- Utilize independent judgment and technical proficiency to produce high-quality imaging.
- Rotate call coverage, including one weeknight per week and one weekend per month.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout procedures.
- Document examination findings precisely and communicate results to clinicians.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Ultrasound Technologist.
- Proven experience performing general ultrasound procedures, including OB ultrasound.
- Ability to demonstrate technical proficiency and clinical judgment.
- Flexibility to participate in rotating call schedules.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and high-quality imaging standards.
