A Day in the Life:

The Elevator Operator IV is responsible for performing all operations functions relating to the elevator, control room, weighing/grading, housekeeping and rail loading activities. Employee may also be responsible for assisting in performing routine maintenance of equipment.

Position Details:

8am - 4pm, M-F

Pay:
Starts at $25.00 an hour, plus overtime, train load bonus, and annual bonus

What You'll Be Doing:

* Participate in safety programs and inspections

* Control room duties, which include continuous monitoring of equipment, processes via computer monitored programs

* Perform all tasks relating to receiving and blending of grain

* Work outdoors in the elevator loading/unloading trucks and rail cars

* Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks

* Operate mobile equipment and properly utilize miscellaneous hand tools

* Perform weighing and grading of all commodities and input customer information into One Weigh software

* Maintain a high level of customer service

* Perform routine housekeeping

* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED

* Experience working in grain elevator (1-2 years preferred)

* Ability to work safely

* Must demonstrate dependability and ability to work in a team environment

* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

* Computer skill experience is desirable
