Clinic LPN
The Clinic LPN is responsible for assisting healthcare providers in delivering patient care. This position performs nursing procedures and promotes a positive patient experience in the clinic setting. Responsibilities include nursing duties such as assessments, assisting providers with procedures, and calling patients with test results. The role also involves prescription refills, filing, ordering medical supplies, and additional duties as assigned by the provider or Clinic Director.
The Clinic LPN functions as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and providers. This role requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of the patient. The Clinic LPN must be able to take vital signs, triage patient calls, refill prescriptions, and complete necessary prior authorizations. Additionally, the role includes scheduling referral appointments and supporting their team of co-workers.
Documentation of patient care and treatments within the electronic health record is essential.
