Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes throughout the childbirth process.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for laboring women, postpartum mothers, and newborns throughout their stay.
- Perform triage assessments and non-stress tests (NSTs) to monitor fetal wellbeing.
- Serve as the second nurse during deliveries, managing overflow patients as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pediatricians, and healthcare team members to deliver coordinated care.
- Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery, ensuring timely intervention.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and clinical observations.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed R Nurse with Labor and Delivery training.
- Hold current certifications in NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above).
- Demonstrate experience in a high-volume obstetrics setting.
- Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
