Lead the Team. Drive Operations. Deliver Excellence. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Foreman to lead daily warehouse operations and oversee a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and distribution of materials while maintaining the highest standards of safety, organization, and customer service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives on developing employees, improving processes, and creating a safe and productive work environment.
WhatYou'll Do Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management
- Oversee all incoming shipments and ensure merchandise is accurately counted, documented, unloaded, and stored in the appropriate locations.
- Coordinate receiving, stocking, inventory control, load building, and distribution activities to support operational efficiency.
- Conduct and oversee periodic inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained to meet operational and customer demands.
- Maintain organized warehouse and storage areas to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and support warehouse employees to achieve performance, safety, and service goals.
- Assign daily work activities and ensure efficient use of personnel and equipment.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
- Ensure team members receive proper training and certification for forklifts and other equipment, as required.
- Review sales invoices and coordinate the accurate assembly and loading of customer orders.
- Ensure materials are loaded safely, efficiently, and accurately to meet customer expectations.
- Support warehouse operations by performing duties alongside team members when needed.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the facility.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, report, and address safety concerns before they become hazards.
- Participate in and lead safety meetings and recommend improvements to increase workplace safety.
- Ensure scrap materials and warehouse debris are properly recycled or disposed of in accordance with company standards.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling procedures.
- Knowledge of product characteristics, weights, and proper loading techniques.
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize work to maximize workforce and equipment efficiency.
- Advanced knowledge of forklifts, warehouse equipment, and material handling machinery.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate expectations, safety procedures, and productivity goals to employees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid mathematical, counting, and estimating skills.
- Ability to prepare schedules, reports, and operational documentation.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience performing and coordinating warehouse, yard, or distribution operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification, if required.

- Exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, equipment noise, and dust.
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
