Job Description:

The Consumer Investment (CI) Client Service and Relationship Management (CICS&RM) Supervision Manager position will serve to ensure regulatory compliance and corporate mandates for all administrative and operational activities performed in the CI Self-Directed space. Merrill is a telephone-based platform that provides mass affluent clients with holistic financial advice and deepens client relationships by identifying broader product and service solutions to meet their investment, savings and credit needs.

A predominant objective of the position is to limit risk and financial exposure to the business unit and the Firm and supervise the front-line units’ overall adherence to Firm policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities of the Onboarding & Managed Product Supervision Manager include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Partner closely with CICS&RM leadership to communicate trends and resolve any escalations that may arise
• Review and approve various activities while determining appropriateness within the Self-Direct space
• Reference policy or procedures to assist associates with questions
• Provide backup coverage, as needed, when peers are out of the office or capacity needs arise
• Demonstrate organization in completing day-to-day responsibilities
• Maintain a positive attitude, commitment to excel and passion for supervision in all tasks completed

Additional responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Partner closely with other lines of business-related questions and requests
• Escalate trends identified in their reviews and leverage peers across other lines of business to resolve
• Join or lead initiatives and process improvement opportunities
• Assist with training, coaching, and the preparation/approval of associates and Supervision resources (as needed)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

• Must have FINRA Series 7, 8 or 9/10, 63/65 or 66 to be considered for the role (in lieu of the 8 or 9/10 we could consider candidates holding all of the following licenses: 4, 24, and 53)
