Missions
Under the direction of the head of the Municipal Police service, as part of a committed and dynamic team, you will apply the policing powers of the Mayor as a whole and ensure a close relationship with the population. You carry out prevention missions necessary for maintaining public order, safety, security, and cleanliness. Activities include:
- Ensuring the safety of people in terms of maintaining public order, tranquility, security, and cleanliness.
- Prevention and surveillance of public thoroughfares.
- Working in collaboration with the gendarmerie.
- Enforcing the orders of the Mayor, the road code, and searching for criminal offenses.
- Maintaining a close relationship with the population.
- Surveillance of public buildings.
- Drafting reports and minutes.
Related skills include:
- Knowledge of the extent of the Mayor's policing powers.
- Mastery of the penal code, criminal procedure, and road code.
- Knowledge of computer tools and police software.
- Technical writing skills.
- Driving license

Working conditions:
Full-time (38h15) over 4 days – 20 annual leave days and 18 compensatory rest days. On-call duty in a brigade over 2 weeks / 1 Saturday every 3.
Hours:
On-call duty 06h00 – 15h30 or 13h30 - 23h00. Particularities:
Participation in events (evenings and weekends). GTPI or sports session once every 2 weeks. Equipment:
Category B and D weapons (PSA, PIE, Tonfa, baton), 2 serigraphy vehicles, 3 electric mountain bikes, bulletproof vests, breathalyzers, pedestrian cameras, personal protective equipment. Position open to titular agents / winners of competitions / military detachments or public service employees of State, Hospital, Territorial on an equivalent scale (C2) of the rank of Guard Brigadier.
Remuneration conditions:
Indiciary treatment + ISFE (fixed part + variable part) + NBI 10 points + paid or recovered overtime + restaurant vouchers (8€) + participation in pension scheme.
