Accounting, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

SUMMARY

Obtain and record financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records by performing the following duties.

• Meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure timely resolution of quality issues with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
• Review regular processes to streamline and reduce paperwork and rework.
• Compile composite reports from individual reports of subordinates required by department or senior management.
• Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
• Perform Accounting functions according to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Attend required internal training.
• Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other associates and organizations, and work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
• Work is 100% on site. No remote work.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• ​Bachelor's Degree: 4‑year degree in Accounting or Finance, or an Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school with six months to one‑year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry to practical situations.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
