* Develop and implement a direct material sourcing strategy to improve flexibility and supply assurance.
* Forecast containment and inflation projects for current and future years.
* Establish goals to improve trade working capital with increased payment terms, lower inventory, and shorter lead times.
* Develop a capacity and regionalization plan for each part of the commodity.
* Establish agreements with suppliers.
* Perform electronic sourcing bid events.
* Collaborate with Supplier Quality to improve supplier performance (PPM).
* Effectively communicate, lead meetings, make presentations, and use tact and professionalism at all times by using core competencies
* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
* Two (2) years of experience in a Procurement function or related experience.
* Strong project management skills.
* A strategic-orientated individual that achieves timely results.
* Ability to review processes and provide feedback on how to improve the processes.
* Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets and charts
* Ability to travel up to 15% of the time (primarily in North America).
