Interior Designer & Stager

Overview

The Interior Designer is a trusted advisor to clients, working with them to identify their needs through project planning, space planning, and small design projects. The role includes specifying furniture, paint, décor, and flooring, overseeing the staging of homes for sale, and assisting in the commercial design and blinds department when needed. The position also offers opportunities to develop communication, project planning, and design skills by supporting various functions of the Furniture Showroom Design Center.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• AutoCAD knowledge required.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Self‑starter capable of working independently and as a team player.
• Displays coordination with others, contributes to office knowledge and spirit, and conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times.
• Desire to advance skills, contribute positively to projects, and take ownership of tasks.
• Continues to increase knowledge base, stays current in the industry, and seeks and completes training and education.

• High school or equivalent.
• Associate’s Degree in Interior Design, or currently working toward completing schooling.

The hourly rate is based on experience.
