** AS A MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL:
*** Test and evaluate failure modes of compressors for new product development, customers, and existing product support.
* Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment, mechanical equipment, and various computer-assisted machines and measuring devices.
* Provide consulting and communicate technical information.
* Entering data into CATS, Salesforce, Xfracas and Sigma.
* Document assembly and inspection results completely and accurately.
* Utilize hand tools, power tools, cutting, welding, and brazing equipment.
* Utilize hydraulic/electrical/mechanical schematics and exploded view blueprints.
* Collaborate and work in both a team environment and individually.
* Follow Copeland’s safety policies and procedures.
* Lifting to 30 pounds intermittently.
** REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, &

SKILLS:

*** High school diploma plus two to three (2-3) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Mechanical and technical experience in at least one of the following disciplines: HVAC/R, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical technologies
* Must have troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Personal computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs
* Forklift driving experience
* Legal Authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
** PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, &

SKILLS:

*** Certification within HVAC, mechanical, electrical, etc.
* Troubleshooting with compressors

* SCHEDULE:

** This position is for 1st shift and would consist of five-eight-hour workdays. Capable of working overtime.#LI-JB1
