SEMCORP Manufacturing USA is seeking an experienced Finance Director to serve as the senior finance leader for its U.S. operations. This role oversees all aspects of finance, including manufacturing finance, accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, internal controls, corporate finance, and strategic investments.
The Finance Director will act as a trusted business partner to the General Manager, driving operational excellence, financial performance, capital allocation, financing initiatives, and long-term business growth. The ideal candidate combines hands-on manufacturing finance expertise with strong corporate finance and investment experience, and has demonstrated success supporting complex industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Overall Financial Leadership
- Lead all finance functions for the U.S. business, including Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Cost Accounting, Internal Controls, and Compliance.
- Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Provide financial leadership to the President and executive management team.
- Build a scalable finance organization to support rapid business growth.
- Partner with Plant Operations to improve profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Drive financial performance across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, procurement, logistics, quality, and maintenance.

- Manufacturing Variance Analysis
- Labor Productivity Analysis
- Yield & Scrap Analysis
- Capacity Utilization Analysis
- Identify and implement plant-wide cost reduction initiatives.
- Support manufacturing expansion and operational excellence programs.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to Operations, HR, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, Procurement, and Production.
- Evaluate operational KPIs and recommend actions to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Support pricing strategies, customer profitability analysis, and product margin optimization.
- Participate in executive decision-making on capacity planning, capital investment, and operational strategy.
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning.
- Develop executive financial dashboards and KPI reporting.
- Deliver timely financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Monitor EBITDA, cash flow, gross margin, working capital, inventory turns, and return on investment.
- Manage banking relationships and financing activities.
- Lead debt financing, credit facilities, and capital structure optimization.

- Maintain strong internal controls and risk management processes.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors on tax planning and compliance.
- Lead and develop the U.S. finance organization.
- Build a high-performance finance team.
- Drive digital transformation and ERP optimization.
- Establish finance best practices across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
- MBA, CPA, CMA, or CFA preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- At least 5 years leading finance in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience as Finance Director, Head of Finance, Plant Finance Leader, or Corporate Finance Executive.
- Strong exposure to both manufacturing finance and corporate finance.
- Experience with capital investments, financing, and strategic planning.
- Experience working in multinational organizations.
