Office Coordinator for our Sleep Lab located in Sidney, Ohio (North Dayton, Ohio) area.

Hours: AS NEEDED

Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Job Summary

The Sleep Lab Office Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the daily administrative and non-clinical operations of the Wilson Health Sleep Center. This position provides organizational and clerical support to ensure efficient scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification and authorization, medical record maintenance, physician communication, and overall office workflow. The Sleep Lab Office Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for patients, providers, and staff while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the Sleep Center's commitment to high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Answer phones, retrieve documents, and process physician billing
  • Schedule diagnostic procedures and patient appointment
  • Maintain linen supply and ensure clean linens for patient rooms
  • Use computer and word processing skills for reports and documentation
  • Process all diagnostic reports
  • Manage supplies: ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventory
  • Coordinate patient DME facilitation with approved vendors
  • Maintain, copy, and organize department/patient forms
  • Follow hospital policies, disaster/fire manuals, and infection control procedures
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous medical office or scheduling experience preferred
  • Basic computer and office equipment skills
