We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Activities Assistant to join our team at Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Sidney, Ohio
. As an Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of activities designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents. This position is .

• Plan and lead a variety of activities, including games, outings, and entertainment events, to engage residents and promote socialization and cognitive stimulation
• Conduct individual and group assessments to identify resident interests and preferences, and tailor activities accordingly
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement activity programs that meet the needs of our residents
• Maintain accurate records of activities and participation, and report any concerns or issues to management
• Provide support and assistance to residents with daily living activities as needed

• 1 years of experience in a healthcare (or related field)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and move residents as needed
