Spherion is hiring an SAP Engineer for our client in Sidney, OH!

• System Operation & Maintenance
  • Monitor the operating status of enterprise systems (SAP, SRM, CRM) and their interfaces, identify alerts, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Respond promptly to system incidents and ensure uninterrupted operation of critical business processes, including production, procurement, and sales.
  • Execute system data backup procedures and periodically test disaster recovery processes.
• Business User Support
  • Provide SAP technical support to business departments and resolve daily operational issues and user inquiries.
  • Configure and audit SAP system authorizations to ensure proper access control and prevent misuse of permissions.
  • Develop and maintain SAP operation manuals and provide system training for employees and business partners.
• Data Management & Analysis
  • Maintain SAP master data and ensure data synchronization and accuracy across integrated systems.
  • Extract and analyze business data, providing management with decision-making support and recommendations for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvement.
• Project Support, Security & Compliance
  • Assist in new module implementation, functional testing, and system upgrades.
  • Participate in emergency support activities and respond to critical business requirements outside regular working hours, such as month-end closing.

Working hours:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Bilingual in English & Mandarin is a plus

Bachelors

4-7 years

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years of IT operation and maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry. Proficient in at least two of the following systems: SAP (FICO/MM/SD), OA, SRM, and CRM.
• Familiar with databases (SQL/Oracle), system integration, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
