** location, you will support the design, development, and qualification of oil-free centrifugal compressors for HVACR systems.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside product and design engineers in a state-of-the-art laboratory environment.

As an
** HVACR Assembly Lab Technician**, you will:
* Assemble and test centrifugal compressors following detailed engineering build instructions.
* Operate laboratory assembly and measurement equipment, including hydraulic presses, micrometers, torque wrenches, pressure gauges, voltage meters, and standard hand tools.
* Fabricate supporting components for non-standard tests, including brazing, soldering, grinding, sanding/lapping, drilling/tapping, and wiring.
* Collect and document build data to ensure compliance with standards and takt times.
* Assist with general laboratory upkeep and maintenance.
** Required Education, Experience & Skills
*** Associate degree in a related field and three (3) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
* Practical, hands-on experience working with mechanical equipment and basic instrumentation.
* Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
* Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
** Preferred Education, Experience & Skills
*** Five (5) or more years of experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
* Hands-on expertise in mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing equipment.
* Tool and die experience.
* Familiarity with controls systems and basic PLC concepts.
* Experience with brazing and soldering techniques.
* Background or certifications in automotive or diesel mechanics.
