General Job Description:

The Production Lead is responsible for the operation of the entire Production operation during their shift. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, correct product set up during changeovers, correct information is displayed on all monitors. Follow policies and procedures, including all Aunt Millie's Food Safety and HACCP procedures which are critical to product safety, legality, and quality.

Production Duties:

Always Promote the culture of Safety first and Quality second.

Assist the Production Manager to build a culture of mutual respect, teamwork, and professionalism, demonstrating active support of the company's values and policies.

Train, motivate, and develop Production personnel on all processes and procedures.

Assist Production Manager in making sure correct production order is being followed to ensure on time deliveries.

Help with startups and changeovers when changing products.

Ensure proper set up of the box formers for all varieties.

Ensure all Production employees are following all GMP policies and company procedures.

Assist with covering shift breaks and fill in as an operator on an as needed basis

Make sure products are placed in boxes properly.

Inform Production Manager of any inconsistencies immediately.

Collect production data hourly and record information on the Level 1 board.

Assist the Production Manger with developing SOP's and training guides for change overs and equipment set up.

Must be able to flex schedule (when given a minimum of 72 hours' notice) to work any scheduled starting times of every job on their assigned shift.

Any and all other duties deemed necessary by supervision.

Sanitation Duties:

Ensure employees properly Lock out / Tag out any applicable equipment before cleaning.

Ensure Production area is maintained in a clean state at all times (do not use compressed air to sweep floor).
