Salary: $30.00 - $35.00/hour + 15% shift differential
Shift: 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM, Monday - Thursday
Location: Onsite - Sidney, OH
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes.
- Machine aerospace-grade components to tight tolerances and customer specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements to produce precision parts.
- Adjust tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds to maintain dimensional accuracy and process efficiency.
- Perform in-process inspections and verify part quality throughout production.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make setup or process adjustments as needed.
- Partner with engineering and programming teams to support process improvements and optimize manufacturing performance.
Skills and Abilities
:
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with multi-axis CNC equipment.
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Makino, or Mitsubishi controls.
- Proficiency using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, height stands, and gauges.
- Strong understanding of tight-tolerance machining and quality-focused manufacturing practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, precision-driven production environment.
