Supervisor
Plans, directs, coordinates, and performs assembly processes in industrial plant by performing the following duties. Develops, evaluates, and improves methods. Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
Confers with management and other staff regarding assembly capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer skills:
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn and use Microsoft Navision. Language skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical skills:
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning ability:
Ability to solve practical problems Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
