Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Set up and operate multi-axis CNC turning and/or milling machines with minimal supervision
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and operation sheets, including GD&T
  • Perform first piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and dial gauges
  • Hold tight tolerances in complex precision machining environments
  • Document inspection results and job data within the ERP system
  • Follow all quality procedures related to machine setup, inspection, documentation, and material handling
  • Troubleshoot machining processes and make necessary adjustments
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications – Needed
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 4pm-4:30am Sunday-Thursday Schedule
  • Minimum 3–5 years of CNC multi-axis turning or milling experience including full set-up and troubleshooting
  • Experience in aerospace or precision component manufacturing preferred
  • Strong background in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
  • Proven ability to independently set up and run complex machining jobs
  • Experience performing first article and in-process inspections
  • Familiarity with ERP systems for production documentation
  • Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
