Night Shift Nurse Job Summary
At Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Night Shift Nurse to join our team in Sidney, Ohio. As a Night Shift Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents in a nursing home setting, promoting and restoring their health and well-being. Key Responsibilities- Deliver compassionate, safe, and effective nursing care based on individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient/resident conditions and report changes to the supervising nurse or physician
- Document all care and observations accurately and timely in accordance with regulations
- Assist with wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, and other clinical procedures
- Supervise nursing assistants and ensure care standards are upheld
- Participate in care planning, team meetings, and shift reports
- Support residents' dignity and well-being through person-centered care
- Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio (Required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
