Job Summary:
Wilson Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented CMA or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Occupational Health team. The Occupational Health LPN provides nursing support to promote the health, safety, and wellness of employees and employer partners. This role delivers high-quality clinical care, supports workplace health programs, assists with employee health services, and collaborates with providers, employers, and healthcare teams to ensure regulatory compliance and positive health outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to employees and community partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care and clinical support within the Occupational Health Department under the direction of a provider or registered nurse.
- Perform employee health services including health screenings, assessments, vital signs, immunizations, and other occupational health-related services.
- Assist with pre-employment physicals, medical surveillance programs, and workplace health evaluations.
- Perform and document testing and screenings such as hearing tests, vision screenings, respiratory fit testing, tuberculosis testing, and other occupational health assessments.
- Obtain and document accurate medical histories, medication information, allergies, and health information.
- Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.
- Provide education and guidance to employees regarding health promotion, wellness initiatives, injury prevention, and workplace safety.
