Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional maternal and neonatal care. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in labor, delivery, and postpartum environments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals to ensure patient safety and well-being.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
• Educate and support new mothers on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth labor and delivery processes.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Nursing License required at time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery and postpartum care.
• Must possess current BLS, NRP, and EFM certifications; ACLS and STABLE preferred.
• Demonstrate strong skills in fetal monitoring, maternal assessment, and neonatal stabilization.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays, including night shifts.
• Epic experience preferred.
