About the Position

We’re hiring motivated individuals for a stable, full‑time night shift (6pm–6am) at our site in Sidney, Ohio. As a Direct Hire employee you’ll join a safety‑first environment that values continuous learning and internal advancement.

Schedule and Pay

Shift: 6pm – 6am (2‑2‑3 schedule). Pay: $17–$26 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Production & Machine Operation – Precision Operation: Set up, run, and monitor specialized coating, slurry, or slitting equipment according to SOPs; prepare base films and accessories; clean equipment and perform daily inspections; maintain accurate production records.
  • Quality Lab & Inspection: Perform visual, dimensional, and functional testing on raw materials, in‑process goods, and finished products using precision tools; log inspection results and non‑conformance reports; verify line setups; assist with CAPA and corrective actions.
Skills
  • Prior experience operating slurry, coating, or slitting machines.
  • Experience with high‑speed rollers or production of plastic film, paper products, or battery components.
  • Associate degree or technical training in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering (preferred).
  • Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949), statistical process control (SPC), or Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Quality certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT). Familiarity with ERP or QMS software (e.g., SAP, Minitab).
Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Associate degree or technical training in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering preferred.

Experience

0–1 years in manufacturing, machine operation, or quality inspection/testing within a production environment.

    Ability to follow precise technical instructions, read specifications, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Teamwork:
    Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced team.
  • Physical capabilities:
    Stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Safety mindset:
    Strict compliance with all company safety protocols, plant cleanliness requirements, and standard PPE.
