Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate

Pay: $11.00 to $14.00 per hour, with a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $1.44 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. They greet, engage, and interact with customers, process sales, loans, and other transactions, and assist with customer inquiries and problem resolution. Duties apply to a wide variety of merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open and close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies and regulations.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math calculations proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
