Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Retail & Store Manager
The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” variable tasks such as planograms, merchandising and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance.
The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts and be able to work varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as required by business needs.
- Communicate proactively and regularly with the District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and offer solutions.
- Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform store‑specific measurements.
- Perform accurate cycle counts.
- Complete Tractor Way “top‑cap” process.
- Hang store signage.
- Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
- Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.

- Recommend Product Solutions.
- Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
- Ensure the customer has a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition.
- Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
- FAST Team Members may also be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, though not required. Regardless of education level, FAST Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills or Abilities- Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
- Self‑directed with the ability to complete assignments with little to no assistance.
- Working environment is generally indoors with moderate noise.
- Work shifts vary from one store to another but are usually no less than 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours.
- Traveling between store locations in a personal vehicle is required, often for long periods.
- Promote a safe and productive work environment for Team Members and customers, adhering to company safety training and guidelines.
- Indoor floors and outdoor lots typically have hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt, etc.) with adequate lighting and temperature.
- Ability to travel as required in support of district needs.
- Ability to push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with proper material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift or reach merchandise overhead occasionally.
- Ability to stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders frequently.
- Ability to safely access all areas of the store, including the selling floor, side lot, stock area, and register area.
- Ability to operate store equipment such as computer, cash register, and other store equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and count accurately to complete all documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Ability to handle and be in contact with birds/poultry.
- Ability to successfully complete all required training.
- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run a store (e.g., dolly, handtruck, forklift, baler, computer, cash register). Forklift and baler requirements do not apply if under the age of 18.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.

- Reaching overhead.
- Moving and transferring merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the store.
- Moving throughout the store for an entire shift.
- Essential to have the physical and mental stamina to move quickly and safely in the store and outdoor areas.
- This position is non‑sedentary.
