Location: Sidney, Ohio
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $72,800 – $110,000 per year
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Fire Suppression Service Technician to inspect, service, and maintain critical fire protection systems that safeguard lives and property. This role is ideal for a skilled technician with strong troubleshooting abilities who takes pride in high-quality work and values safety, reliability, and professional growth.
Core Responsibilities- Inspect, maintain, and service fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and fire suppression equipment
- Perform routine fire extinguisher inspections and repairs
- Diagnose and repair wet and dry fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps (diesel and electric), and underground components
- Respond to emergency service calls for system repairs and replacements
- Assist with quoting and documenting annual inspections and repair recommendations
- Accurately complete service documentation and reports
- Maintain compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
- 5+ years of experience in fire suppression system service and maintenance (6–10 years preferred)
- Proven expertise in commercial fire suppression repair and maintenance
- Licenses and/or certifications related to one or more of the following systems:
- Fire sprinkler systems (wet and dry)
- Fire pumps (diesel and electric)
- Fire alarms
- Fire extinguishers
- Backflow systems
- Kitchen hood suppression systems
- Underground systems
- Halon systems
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
