Pay Range: $60,000 - $85,000 per year

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced journeyman pipefitter to support our commercial and industrial projects through the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship, follows safety standards, and works well as part of a team.

Pipefitter Journeymen play a key role in delivering reliable piping systems that keep projects on schedule and operating efficiently.

Core Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, maintain, and repair piping systems for commercial and industrial projects
• Work with piping systems including process piping, steam, hydronic, gas, and industrial piping
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble pipe using proper tools and techniques
• Assist with layout and preparation of piping systems
• Ensure work meets applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements
• Coordinate with foremen, supervisors, and other trades
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Follow company safety policies and job site procedures

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Journeyman Pipefitter certification or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of pipe fitting materials, methods, and tools
• Ability to read blueprints and isometric drawings
• Understanding of applicable codes and safety requirements
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience

• Commercial and industrial pipe fitting experience
• Experience working on mechanical or process piping systems
• Welding experience or coordination with welders (preferred but not required)
• OSHA training or safety certifications
