Looking for directional drill operator (HDD) to install underground utilities (fiber optic). Working closely with a locator and ground crew to execute accurate bore shots
Key responsibilities:- Operate horizontal directional drill (HDD) Vermeer equipment
- Plan and execute bore paths based on utility locates and depth requirements
- Coordinate with locator via radio and hand signals to adjust drill head direction and path
- Maintain equipment including mixing drilling fluids and performing routine mechanical troubleshooting
- 1-2+ years experience in directional boring and underground utility installation
