The Warehouse Associate at Cornerstone Building Brands is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations. This role combines hands‑on operational and workflow oversight to ensure efficiency, safety, and accuracy.

• Monitor daily workflow, assign tasks, and adjust priorities as needed to meet customer demands and shipping schedules.
• Safe forklift operation and SOP compliance.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and safety.
• Pull, stage, and load orders onto truck trailers using forklifts.
• Oversee and participate in both warehouse and yard operations.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with established SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Perform and verify completion of daily equipment checks and maintenance reporting.
• Support accurate inventory management and documentation to reduce errors and shipping variances.

What you’ll need

• Minimum 3 months of warehouse experience, including qualified forklift operation (sit‑down and stand‑up).
• Yard tractor or Drexel experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and documentation.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills required for warehouse tasks.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and fostering a team safety culture.

• Regular lifting and handling of materials up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching (including overhead), and twisting.
• Use of hands and fingers for threading machines, pressing buttons, and handling materials.
• Occasional squatting, ladder and stair climbing.
• Operation of material‑handling equipment such as forklifts.
• Pushing or pulling loads (with equipment assistance) up to 275 lbs.
• Requires visual acuity, depth perception, hearing, and effective communication.

• Manufacturing plant setting with exposure to moderate to high noise levels (hearing protection required).
• Potential exposure to heat, cold, dust, chemicals, and damp conditions.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, steel‑toed shoes, hearing protection, and hard hats.
• Occasional work at heights over 4 feet.
• Rotating shift work and a fast‑paced, production‑based environment with performance expectations.
