Everforth ECS is seeking an Infrastructure Linux Engineer to work in Sierra Vista, AZ.

As an Infrastructure/Linux Engineer, you will support ECS's Army Endpoint Security Solution (AESS) program. This technical hands‑on role involves designing, building, securing, maintaining, optimizing, and integrating technologies and solutions deployed globally in a federal DoD environment.
Required Skills- Top Secret Clearance
- Deploy, configure, and maintain virtual Linux servers on secure and unsecure networks.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on servers to resolve performance and security issues.
- Deploy, integrate, upgrade, and maintain commercial and government off‑the‑shelf applications in support of program requirements.
- Support cross‑functional teams with assessing, troubleshooting, and resolving stability and performance issues with third‑party Linux applications.
- Create and/or maintain documentation for Linux server configurations.
- Harden Linux servers, conduct DISA STIG reviews, assess findings, and recommend/implement appropriate corrective measures to ensure compliance with STIG requirements.
- Implement, tune, operate, and maintain diagnostics and performance monitoring tools to detect, prevent, and/or resolve anomalous server behavior.
- Collaborate with multi‑function teams to maintain an effective and compliant security posture for all system enclaves.
- Support special projects as assigned by assisting with requirements gathering, analysis and through direct engineering support to deploy, configure, and implement required systems and services.
- Utilize CRM tools to request and track change requests to the servers and infrastructure.
- Collaborative work culture / environments.
- Provide direct support to the local customer team and CONUS‑based Ops team.
- Background in AESS
- Must be self‑driven and able to learn/adapt on the job.
- Experience deploying and managing McAfee/Trellix ePO
- 8570 Level 2 certification (e.g., Security+)
- Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Comfortable working independently
- Experience with Rogue System Detection (RSD)
- Current TS/SCI clearance
