How you'll contribute

A CNA who excels in this role:

* Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN or LPN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements and recording intake and output.

* Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.

* Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.

* Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.

* Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.

* Provides quality patient care; works flexible shifts or units as needed

* Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

* High School diploma preferred

* Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Arizona required

* BLS certification required

* Handle with Care certification preferred

* Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hard/arm movements.

* Comfortable with regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
