• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on immediate conditions.
• Perform ongoing assessments and implement treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients’ families.
• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑operative.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed.

Travel nurses must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty; lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when needed. Work in a fast‑paced environment with patients who may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.

• BLS certification, 1.5 years of recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before the assignment.

Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
