About the RoleYour experience matters at Canyon Vista Medical Center. As a registered nurse in our PACU, you will provide immediate post-operative recovery care for perioperative patients using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to shape exceptional patient journeys.
Responsibilities- Assess patients in the PACU and implement individualized plans of care.
- Monitor patients for complications and provide timely interventions.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to coordinate care.
- Document all nursing actions and outcomes in the electronic medical record.

- Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing school
- ACLS and PALS certifications required within 90 days of hire
- Preferred:
One year of experience in an acute-care setting
The PACU operates within a trauma III hospital setting, fostering teamwork and effective communication essential for delivering patient care and ensuring optimal medical attention and support.
