Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency

Job Type: Part-Time | PRN

Schedule: 12 hour shifts | 6:45pm-7am or 6:45am-7pm

As an RN joining our Emergency Department, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality emergency care in a 22-bed unit within a Level III Trauma Center. • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Patient populations served:
  Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.

• Current Arizona or Compact RN license; associate degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's preferred).
• Active Arizona or Compact RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, HAZMAT, and Handle with Care certifications required within 90 days of hire.
• TNCC required within one year of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
