At Canyon Vista Medical Center, our Interventional Radiology (IR) team is at the forefront of minimally invasive, image-guided care—delivering innovative procedures that improve outcomes, reduce recovery times, and transform the patient experience.

As part of a collaborative Diagnostic Imaging team, our IR professionals provide highly specialized care across a wide range of procedures, including biopsies, aspirations, vascular interventions, and advanced imaging-guided treatments. Our nurses and technologists work side-by-side with radiologists, ensuring safe, precise, and efficient care for every patient we serve.

How You'll Contribute

The Radiology Department (Interventional Radiology RN) at Canyon Vista Medical Center embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for the delivery of patient care.

RN Performs:

  • Plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we're looking for:

Applicants should have a current Arizona or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
  • Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License.
  • BLS required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS, PALS certifications are required within 1 year of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred.
  • Critical Care experience is preferred.
