Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring AZ or compact RN license, ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications.

• Active AZ or compact RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• 2+ years of ER experience preferred
• Trauma and pediatric experience preferred
• RN license required for education

• Work in a 22-bed Emergency Department treating all patient populations including adult, geriatric, and pediatric
• Patient ratios are 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical patients, and 6:1 in fast track
• Shift runs from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Weekend requirement of 4 shifts in 4 weeks on an every-other-weekend rotation
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Uses Cerner EHR
• Care for a wide variety of ED cases including trauma, STEMI, psych, cardiac, GI, and stroke patients
• Scrubs of any color or print are acceptable; t-shirts, open-toe shoes, hoodies, and leggings are not permitted
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
