** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.

+ Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by reporting maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + An armed guard card or license is required.

+ At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
