Signal Hill, CA 90755 | Salary: $27.00 – $28.00 per hour.

- Conduct all operations within established budgets.
- Use and submit all forms and reports accurately and timely, maintaining proper filing systems.
- Keep work areas clean and presentable to customers and visitors.
- Maintain a safe work environment, complying with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
- Maintain external relationships consistent with company objectives and image, including customer, public, vendor, and community relations.
- Maintain confidentiality on all corporate matters classified as such.
- Operate trucks and vehicles safely.
- Back truck in a safe manner.
- Receive item list, delivery schedule, release form, invoices, and load tags from the Shipping Supervisor.
- Open and unbar trucks.
- Operate forklifts to load trucks as necessary when trained.
- Ensure trucks are loaded properly.
- Locate customers and make deliveries.
- Unload trucks as required.
- Reconcile load tag with Bill of Lading.
- Obtain a customer signature.
- When making after‑hours deliveries, confirm the customer is open and will have assistance to unload if needed.
- Make pickups and deliveries and perform inventory duties at the Long Beach, CA facility as needed.
- Report location and status via truck radio or designated communication method regularly.
- Report arrival and departure at each location and any unusual delays or deviations from schedule.
- Maintain a daily vehicle log with location, time, mileage, and vehicle maintenance entries.
- Represent Supply One professionally and considerately at all times.
- Maintain a professional appearance and ensure the truck remains in good repair.
- Perform physical inventory counts as directed by the Shipping Supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shipping area: sweep, dispose of trash, etc.
- Maintain facility and warehouse areas when assigned.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained according to schedule.
- Secure loads properly and close doors when vehicles are loaded.
- Check oil, tires, and fuel daily as needed.
- Operate vehicles safely, courteously, and within all laws and posted speed limits.
- Maintain a valid CDL Class C driver’s license.
- Report accidents immediately.
- Render immediate medical assistance to others when necessary.
- Secure trucks at night in the Long Beach, CA yard.
- Prohibit smoking in company vehicles.
- Prohibit unauthorized passengers and drivers.
Achieve at least 95% of budget, time, and performance evaluation goals without sacrificing quality or safety.
Minimum Qualifications- Minimum two years of hands‑on experience in related functions.
- Minimum two years of college or vocational training in the field, or equivalent direct experience.
- Valid licensure for the type of vehicle operated.
- Physical ability to manipulate a CRT/screens, keyboard, mouse, and other computer equipment; sit or stand for extended periods, navigate two flights of stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds unaided.
