Thrasher Elementary is a vibrant K–5 school nestled on 17 wooded acres in beautiful Signal Mountain, TN. As a true community school, we are fortunate to have an active PTA, strong parental involvement, and support from the Mountain Education Foundation that partners with us to enrich learning.

Our teachers enjoy a collaborative and supportive environment where professional expertise is valued, and teacher autonomy is respected. At Thrasher, faculty and staff are deeply appreciated by both the school and the community, creating a strong sense of belonging and purpose.

• Positive, student-focused educators with strong content and classroom management skills
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Committed to high expectations and academic achievement for all students
• Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous growth
• Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus
• Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially

• Bachelor's degree required
• Valid Tennessee teaching license in Elementary Education (K-5) OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program

• Salary Scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00
• Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
