Overview

Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Check Into Cash, Sikeston, MO. You’ll help people in your community access the financial solutions they need—right when they need it the most. You’ll build connections with our diverse customer base and process transactions (check cashing, money transfers, and customer payments) while providing exceptional in-store experiences. This entry level position includes hands-on training, coaching, and development to support long-term success and career growth in a fast-growing, impact-driven company.

Compensation

The hourly wage for the position is $18.25 per hour. The hourly rate is one element of our Total Compensation package.

Responsibilities
  • Connect with customers to cultivate lasting relationships and drive repeat business.
  • Review, validate, and process customer transactions with accuracy.
  • Offer personalized financial services that fit customers’ needs.
  • Enter and maintain customer information precisely in a POS system.
  • Support new business through daily call campaigns and community engagement.
  • Assist in account management and collections by accepting payments and managing appointments.
  • Perform duties outside the office as applicable (on-site vehicle appraisals, store errands, events).
  • Maintain store appearance and cleanliness to enhance customer experience.
  • Follow security protocols and perform opening/closing procedures as needed.
  • Uphold company policies and comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing training and stay current on product and process changes.
  • Work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by leadership.
  • Maintain a full-time schedule with regular in-person attendance, including weekends (minimum 40 hours per week).
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
  • Proficiency with phones, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
  • Background check required in accordance with applicable law.
  • Ability to meet physical demands (standing up to 90% of the time, lifting up to 25 pounds, mobility in and out of the store, operating computer controls).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing.
  • Cash handling and cash drawer/vault management experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) may be required for certain locations.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a personal vehicle (mileage compensated).
