Role OverviewThis role leads exciting engineering projects that bring some of the world’s most loved ice‑cream products to life. From packaging line installations and process improvements to large‑scale utilities and construction projects, you will have the opportunity to make a visible impact while working with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Manage projects such as ice‑cream packaging line installs, process improvements, plant utilities modifications, refrigeration projects, and civil construction of buildings.
- Review engineering drawings and align them with safety, quality, operations, and maintenance teams before finalizing and supervising execution.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and external vendors.
- Design, specify, and implement manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company best practices.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, process flows, and SOPs.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement engineering solutions to improve reliability and throughput.
- Track project performance metrics and communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- 5-7 years of experience in project engineering or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing engineering or capital equipment projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of project management principles, early equipment management, lean manufacturing, and related concepts.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

- Pay range: $88,600 to $133,000.
