As Manufacturing Manager, you will lead production at our Sikeston Facility and play a key role in implementing the Ice Cream Manufacturing System (ICMS) standards to improve safety, quality, output and cost performance.
What You’ll DoReporting to the Associate Director of Manufacturing, you will lead a team of Manufacturing Area Leads, Supervisors and manufacturing employees. You will be responsible for all key business metrics and for the site in the absence of the Associate Director, managing a 24/7 manufacturing operation to ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
Additional Duties and Expectations of RoleActively participate in the implementation of all site‑specific safety and environmental programs with the ability to lead a world‑class safety culture. Act as an active member of the Central Safety Health Environmental Committee (CSHEC), own several site safety programs, achieve desired production costs, including fixed and variable labor costs, operating equipment efficiency (OEE), waste management and attainment of business waste and VIP project ideas year‑over‑year.
Build and develop agile work systems that engage, empower and motivate employees toward a highly autonomous work culture.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience.
- Proven leadership experience in management or supervisory roles, including:
- Leading teams in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives (UMS, WCM, TPM, Lean Manufacturing).
- Full understanding and enforcement of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in an ice‑cream plant.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles, implementation, and facilitation.
- Ability to effectively manage conflict while creating an inclusive work environment.
- Full understanding of OSHA and pertinent safety regulations.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment, concepts and regulations (asset).
- Champion for change management.
- Experience using SAP and demonstrated competence in logistics and supply‑chain management.
Pay range: $103,000 to $154,400. This position is bonus eligible and long‑term incentive (LTI) eligible.
