AboutThe Role

This role is paramount for our growth aspirations and will enable us to continue making an impact on ranches across the US.
As a Territory Manager at Halter, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth and ensuring customer success within your designated territory. You will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and meeting ambitious growth targets, all while acting as Halter’s on‑ground representative.
What Your Day Could Look Like- Prospecting New Business: driving out to driveways, attending local cattle auctions, meeting with local livestock, cattlemen’s, stockmen’s associations, building a new business pipeline through outbound lead generation. Fielding inbound leads in a timely manner while prioritizing administrative tasks with in‑field activities.
- In‑Field Sales: stopping by ranches to discuss how Halter could benefit pastures, offering coffee during calving season, and building moments that create lasting customer value.
- Expanding Existing Opportunities: seeking ways to add value for current customers—every rancher may not collar all cows, so identifying unique opportunities to grow relationships.
- Hitting Sales Targets: managing pipeline, qualifying leads, and keeping next‑month goals in sight.
- Customer Account Management: maintaining close relationships after the sale, providing support, and ensuring ongoing satisfaction. Ensuring smooth hand‑off from sales to onboarding.
- Territory Ownership: owning a whole territory, engaging with local, state, and federal stakeholders, and building lasting relationships with regional agricultural groups.
- Customer Onboarding: owning end‑to‑end onboarding during deployment, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
- Field Learnings & Feedback: gathering customer feedback in the territory and advocating for customer needs.
- Collaborating with Support Teams: resolving issues quickly and ensuring customers feel fully supported.
- Attending Industry Events: generating leads and deepening relationships at relevant events and Halter demos.
- Contributing to the US Sales Strategy: collaborating with the broader team to optimize the sales process and fit the US market.
This role covers the Missouri Boot Heel region. Frequent travel is required as part of this role.

Experience:
