Overview
The incumbent provides administrative office support to the Assistant, Admin II and department staff. This position assists in the daily operations of the Electric department by performing a range of clerical duties. This position also provides customer service for walk-in customers.

Education and/or ExperienceApplicants must possess an Associate s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; two (2) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point). Experience with customer service related functions and phone experience.
Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to rate, ration and percent, draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
